Thailand to mark International Anti-Drug Day

The Office of Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) of Thailand will burn 3,500 kilograms of drug next Monday to mark the International Anti-Drug Day.

ONCB secretary-general Krissana Pholanan said Tuesday That the 3,500 kilograms of the drug had been seized from drug suspects in 246,431 cases.

He said the burning would be supervised by the Public Health Ministry at the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate in Thailand's central province of Ayutthaya province.

The United Nations' General Assembly has designated June 26 as the International Anti-Drug Day.
