Stations along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway

The photo shows the Tanghla station on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. Along the 1142km-long Lhasa- Golmud section of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, there are altogether 45 stations: Lhasa, Maxiang, Angga, Yangbajain, Tanghla, Tuotuo River, etc. Both the names and building structures of the stations are of strong Tibetan characteristics. The stations, with unique construction style combined with the modern construction idea, are just like bright pearls linked by the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.
