Senior Chinese leader meets deputies to fourth World Chinese Forum
font size

Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met on Tuesday with deputies to the fourth World Chinese forum, calling on domestic and overseas private businesses run by Chinese to step up cooperation.

He said that domestic private businesses should combine their strengths in property rights, operations and cost control with those of businesses run by overseas Chinese.

The forum's theme of "going out" will bring good opportunities for China's private businesses to go international and more market space for overseas Chinese businesses, he said.

He also urged the two groups to work together to push forward peaceful reunification of China and friendly exchanges between China and other countries.
