The gold price in Hong Kong went down 2 HK dollars to 5,366 HK dollars per tael on Saturday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

However, the price is equivalent to 580.68 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up one U.S. cent at Saturday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7570 HK dollars.

Friday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar was against 7.60 HK dollars.
