Chinese President meets deputies to military training conference

Chinese President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) Hu Jintao met with representatives to a national military training conference Saturday in Beijing.

The meeting, held at a time of deepening military reforms with Chinese characteristics, is designed to make arrangements on future military training exercises and bring about more innovations.

CMC Vice-chairmen Guo Boxiong and Cao Gangchuan attended the meeting.
