8 injured in road mishap in central Nepal

At least eight persons were injured when a bus and a cargo truck collided head-on near Naubise of Dhading district on the Tribhuvan Highway in central Nepal Sunday morning.

According to the Area Police Office, the bus bound for Dhulikhel from Janakpur, bordering with capital city Kathmandu, collided with the truck due to slippery road after incessant rainfall.

There were 54 passengers onboard when the mishap happened.

The injured have been sent to Bir Hospital, Kathmandu, for treatment.
