The gold price in Hong Kong gained 31 HK dollars to 5,397 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 583.73 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 3.05 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7610 HK dollars.
