Military teachers to visit Xisha Archipelago in S. China Sea
font size

Over 100 young and middle-aged teachers from the National University of Defense (NUD) and academies under the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, left the Lushun Port, in northeast China, on board the training vessel of "Zhenghe", heading for the Xisha Archipelago in the South China Sea.

This offshore trip is aimed to improve the quality of the teaching staff by letting them learn about the real situation of the PLA Navy and maritime warfare.

The voyage takes 16 days to sail for over 10,000 miles.
