Stating that the election to a Constituent Assembly will bring solution to every political problem facing Nepal, various political leaders said that the elections will make decision on monarchy's fate.
Speaking at a gathering here on Saturday, they stressed the need of Constituent Assembly elections to ensure "full-fledged democracy" in the country to bring the violence to an end.
"Only the outcome of the Constituent Assembly elections will ensure total democracy in the country," the Communist Party Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist leader Pradeep Nepal said.
On the same occasion, another leader of the party Jhalanath Khanal said that the pro-democracy movement was a political revolution which will continue until a new constitution is formed through the Constituent Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, Nepali Congress (Democratic) general secretary Bimalendra Nidhi called for a federal system of governance in the country.
On June 16, the Seven-Party Alliance government and the guerrilla reached an 8-point deal to pave the way for Constituent Assembly elections, which is expected to be held by mid-April next year.
They also agreed to draft an interim constitution before going for Constituent Assembly elections.
