Three focuses in Sino-Africa economic and trade ties

Regarding the question of the expectancy to economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa with current depressed investment prospects, Jiang Yu, the spokeswoman of Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday, China has always developed the economic and trade cooperation with Africa in accordance with the principles of equality, mutual benefit and common development.

Jiang also expressed China's three focuses in Sino-Africa economic and trade ties, as follows: China will expand the import of African products and take effective measures to create conditions for Africa to promote their own goods; China will combine technical assistance with economic assistance closely, and focus on enhancing African capacity for self-development; China will help Africa with its talents' training and management.

The economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa promotes social and economic development in Africa in a positive way, said Jiang.
