Shanghai lifts base price of platinum

It is learnt from Shanghai Gold and Jewelry Trade Association (SHGJTA) on July 3 that the base price of platinum gold will rise to 370 yuan per gram from July 4.

Last week, the price of platinum jewelry has risen on both international and domestic markets. With Shanghai Gold Exchange the weekly price of Pt 99.95 was 313.55 yuan per gram, and that of No.1 gold Au99.99 was 151.42 yuan per gram. According to tentative methods concerning autonomic ruling price on gold and platinum Jewelry of SHGJTA, the base price of platinum jewelry has complied with the requirements for readjustments.
