Birmingham accepts Wigan offer for Heskey

Birmingham City has accepted a bid of 5.5 million pounds (10.09 million US dollars) from Wigan Athletic for former England striker Emile Heskey.

The player will now hold talks with the Premier League club, Birmingham said on its official website.

Birmingham was relegated from the top flight last season.
