German stocks ended lower on Friday on the Frankfurt market.

The 30-share DAX Index lost 0.24 percent to 5,681.85 points.

The MDAX index of medium-sized companies was down 0.66 percent to 7,859.13 points.

The TecDAX index of technologies and science firms lost 1.67 percent to 646.53.
