The gold price in Hong Kong gained 54 HK dollars to 5,798 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 627.02 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 5.88 U.S. dollars at Friday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7620 HK dollars.
