51,000 foreigners employed in Shanghai

Statistics filed by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Labor and Social Security show that the number of foreigners working in Shanghai has reached 51,000.

According to the statistics, 85 percent of these foreign workers come from Japan, US, ROK, Germany, Malaysia, France, Canada, UK and Australia, and 86 percent of them work for foreign enterprises.
