Kuwaiti crude oil price slip from record high
font size

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation ( KPC) announced on Saturday that Kuwaiti crude oil price had dropped by 32 U.S. cents on Friday from the record high on Thursday.

KPC said in a statement that the crude oil price was 65.63 U.S. dollars per barrel on Friday, 32 cents down compared to the record 65.95 dollars registered on Thursday.

Thursday's price outran the previous record registered on May 2, 2006 when the price reached 65.49 dollars per barrel.

Kuwaiti oil prices have maintained above the 60-dollar mark this year against the backdrop of soaring international oil prices due to economic, technical and geopolitical reasons.
