Strong Typhoon Ewiniar was moving toward southern Japan's Okinawa Prefecture on Saturday, Kyodo News reported.
The typhoon, which is now on the Pacific Ocean, was about 80 km southeast of Miyako Island, Okinawa Prefecture, as of 6 p.m., and is expected to move on to the East China Sea on Sunday noon after passing Okinawa's island chain, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
