Four bombs exploded Friday night in Bangladesh's western Sirajganj city, 140 km of Dhaka, but none was killed or injured, police said Saturday.
A police official Akhteruzzaman when contacted by phone said the bombs blasted near the downtown city, but none was hurt.
He said quoting eyewitnesses as saying that 10 to 15 miscreants came at the scene of blasts, but the police could not yet confirm the intention of the blasts.
Three more unexploded bombs were found at the scene. Police picked up the unexploded bombs and defused those bombs.
The police official said they have launched a manhunt for arresting the culprits behind the explosions and identify the intention of the blasts.
Eyewitness said the explosions created a panic in the area and shop owners immediately shuttered their shops and ran to safety. People in the streets immediate ran out of the area, the police said.
