One injured in rocket attack in S. IsraelAn Israeli resident was wounded on Sunday morning when a rocket, launched from northern Gaza Strip, landed in Israel's southern town of Sderot, the Ha'aretz daily reported. A 40-year-old man was moderately hurt by shrapnel to the chest, the report said, adding he was rushed to Barzilai Medical Center in the southern coastal city of Ashkelon. A second rocket hit a house in Sderot, causing damage. Three people were shocked and received treatment, according to Ha'aretz. In the wake of the rocket raids, Israeli forces resumed shelling of sites in northern Gaza Strip from where rockets were launched, the report added.
