Chinese, Cuban communist officials to enhance party-to-party cooperation

Senior officials of the Communist Party of China and the Communist Party of Cuba met on Monday, vowing to enhance party-to-party exchanges and cooperation.

Liu Yunshan, a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau and a member of CPC Central Committee Secretariat, and his counterpart Esteban Lazo Hernandez, of the Communist Party of Cuba, vowed to enhance exchanges in the political, ideological and publicity fields.

Liu is also head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee while Lazo is a vice-president of the Cuban Council of State.

Liu spoke highly of the relations between the two countries and parties and Lazo appreciated the support for Cuba from the Communist Party of China, and the Chinese government and people.
