Latin America's three major stock markets closed mixed on Friday.
The Buenos Aires stock market closed with the Merval index up 0.63 percent to end at 1,654.46 points. The trade volume was 11.730 million U.S. dollars.
Mexico City's stock market IPC index dropped 2.12 percent to close at 18,328.66 points. A total of 98 million shares were traded at 230 million dollars.
In Sao Paulo, Latin America's biggest bourse, the leading Bovespa index closed at 35,350 points, down 0.01 percent. The trade volume was 720.4 million dollars.
