China's Minister of Culture Sun Jiazheng will attend the presidency handover ceremony of Peru on July 28 as Special Envoy of the Chinese government, China's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Jiang Yu announced Monday.

Former Peruvian President Alan Garcia was reelected as head of state in June.
