Vietnam faces cloth-upper shoe anti-dumping lawsuitPeru has decided to implement an anti-dumping investigation into cloth-upper shoes originating in Vietnam, according to the Competition Management Department under the Vietnamese Trade Ministry Monday. This is the second time Peru has conducted anti-dumping investigation into imports from Vietnam. Last year, Peru imposed anti-dumping tariffs on wave surfing boards from the country. Recently, Egypt has imposed provisional anti-dumping duties of 0.36-0.43 U.S. dollars per unit on imports of fluorescent lamps from Vietnam, and the European Commission levied those of 4.2 percent on leather-upper shoes from the country.
