It has be made known from the Ministry of Commerce of China that the national retail turnover in lodging, food and beverage industry has amounted to 412.77 billion Yuan for the period January to May, which is 53.78 billion Yuan more than the same period of last year, rising by 15 percent.

The national retail turnover in lodging, food and beverage industry is 1.78 percentage points more than the amplitude of total retail turnover of social consumables, and accounts for 13.6 percent of total retail turnover of social consumables.

Moreover, it has made the total retail turnover of social consumables rise by two percentage points. Its contribution to the increase of the total retail turnover of social consumable is 15.2 percent.
