The gold price in Hong Kong went down 179 HK dollar to 5,785 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 664.64 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 39.51 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7680 HK dollars.
