font size

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Monday met a group of Tibetans living in Europe who came for a ten-day visit.

"The motherland always welcomes patriotic Tibetans," said Liu Yandong, head of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, praising Tibetans' patriotism in helping develop their hometowns.

The Party and the country will always trust and care for you and for all patriotic Tibetans, Liu told the group who arrived in Beijing last Sunday.

She briefed the group on the development of the Tibet Autonomous Region and asked them to tell other overseas Tibetans about what they see and hear during their 10-day visit.
