The disposable personal income (DPI) and personal consumption of Beijing residents both rank third in Chinese mainland.

The DPI of Beijing residents reached 10,161.2 Yuan, following after Shanghai (10,704.4 Yuan) and Guangzhou (10,491.5 Yuan), but preceding Tianjin (6,581.7 Yuan) and Chongqing (5,901.5 Yuan).

The personal consumption of Beijing residents amounted to 7,144.9 Yuan, following after Guangazhou (7,761.5 Yuan), Shanghai (7,236.9 Yuan), but preceding Tianjin (4,968.3 Yuan) and Chongqing (4,530.6 Yuan).

However, the DPI of Beijing residents increased by 14 percent over the same period of last year, the DPI of Shanghai residents and Guangzhou residents increased by 10.9 percent and 10.2 percent respectively.
