China's Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) has donated 800,000 patacas (100,000 U.S. dollars) to the flood-stricken mainland, the Macao Red Cross (MRC) announced on Tuesday.
The MRC has delivered the donation to the Red Cross Society of China, a press release published on the MRC's web page said.
The MRC has also assigned staffs to the flood-hit city of Guilin in south China, to see to the situations, said the release.
A total of 24 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the Chinese mainland have been affected by flood this summer, claiming large loss of life and property.
