RMB exchange rate hit record high

The central parity of Renminbi (RMB) on inter-bank foreign exchange market hit another record high of 7.9845 yuan against one US dollar on Monday. The exchange rate of RMB has been raised by 52 base points over the last week.

At the inquiry system on Monday one US dollar against RMB drifted between 7.9879 and 7.9837 yuan, and closed at 7.9871.

On that day the central parity of yuan against other three major currencies are: 10.1082 yuan against one Euro, 6.8513 yuan against 100 Japanese yen, and 1.02676 yuan against one Hong Kong dollar.
