Micronesian vice president ends China tour

Vice President Redley Killion of the Federated States of Micronesia left Qingdao Wednesday afternoon, winding up his eight-day unofficial visit to China.

Killion visited China as guest of the Chinese government.

Before coming to this coastal city of Qingdao, Killion had visited Beijing and Shenyang, capital city of Liaoning Province in northeast China.

During his stay in Beijing, Killion met with Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Jia Qinglin and Vice President Zeng Qinghong.

In Qingdao, Killion toured a national aquiculture base and paid a visit to Haier, one of China's leading home appliance manufacturers.
