Peaceful solution through negotiations is the best choice to solve the Iran nuclear issue, Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing said here on Friday.

Li made this remark when he met with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki in this capital city of Malaysia, where they were attending the 13th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF).

Li said that all sides concerned should continue to make unceasing efforts to this end and create conditions for an early resumption of the negotiations on the Iran nuclear issue.

The Chinese side is willing to work together with all parties concerned to play a constructive role in a peaceful solution of the Iran nuclear issue, he said.
