The gold price in Hong Kong went up 14 HK dollars to 5,862 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 633.86 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 1.1 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.763 HK dollars.
