font size

Kenya stands together with Zimbabwe to cope with the challenges it faces, said Kenyan Ambassador to Zimbabwe Maria Nzomo on Monday.

Nzomo, who has been appointed as Kenya's representative to the United Nations, said she will continue working to strengthen the ties between Kenya and Zimbabwe.

After bidding farewell to Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, Nzomo told reporters said she discussed with Mugabe the ways to strengthen the economic ties between the two countries.

The outgoing ambassador added that she had enjoyed a good relationship not only with the government but also with the people of Zimbabwe.
