Apple lands on Intel platform successfully

Apple has successfully transferred from IBM to Intel platform with the latter's application rate already reaching 75 per cent on computers sold, the company announced recently in its third quarter report of fiscal year 2006.

The financial report told a net profit of 472 million US dollars, 150 million dollars more than the same period of the previous year, hitting the second highest record in Apple history.
