At least seven children have died of diarrhea in remote mid-western district of Mugu in the past seen days, a local website reported on Tuesday.

According to nepalnews.com, diarrhea outbreak is seen in Mangri village in the district, some 700 km west of Kathmandu, since last week while the local health centers have run out of medicines.

Mangri village is a day's walk from the district headquarters Gamgadhi where 60-70 patients of diarrhea come for treatment at the district hospital every day but no treatment is being provided from there due to lack of medicines, the report added.
