    Selected Works of Jiang Zemin published

    Overloaded truck in Shandong

    An overloaded truck is stuck in Shen County, East China's Shandong Province August 9 2006. Nobody was injured in the accident. Ministry figures show that the number of major road accidents, where at least five people are killed, reached 180 in the first half of the year, up 8.4 per cent over the same period last year.

    Ceramics named "Fu Gui Hong" displayed at Jinjiang Museum

"Fu Gui Hong" is a kind of red vitreous enamel fired in high temperature.     Younger sister of Siamese twins leaves hospital healthily

The 11-month-old Siamese twins from Taizhou in east Chian's Zhejiang Province, was seperated successfully on July 6. Chen Jingni survives, but her sister died on July 10.

    Thangka exhibition opens in Xi'an
