China's seventh Journalists Association council to hold first meeting in October

The first session of the seventh All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) council will be held in late October, which was decided at the fifth session of the sixth ACJA council held here Thursday.

According to the meeting, ACJA has made due preparation for the forthcoming meeting.

Participants agreed at Thursday's meeting that the sixth ACJA council had contributed a lot to the prosperity of China's journalism sector and scored remarkable achievements in terms of self-discipline, protecting the lawful rights and interests of journalists and conducting exchanges with overseas counterparts.
