| Wildfire in the Dawan Forest Zone |
|
Firefighters try to put out wildfire in the Dawan Forest Zone at Longding Village in the Banan District of Chongqing, southwest China, Aug. 11, 2006. The fire breaking out Thursday night was put out after it engulfed over 33 hectares of forest. Twenty-five wildfires have taken place in Chongqing since the start of August, due to the hot and dry weather.
