    Kissing fish therapy

    Three local residents enjoy hot spring fish therapy in the hotspring bathing pool at the Holiday Beach Park in Haikou, Aug. 10, 2006. Nearly 50,000 "kissing fishes", a kind of small fish which can live in hotspring and eats the scurf of human beings, have been put into the bathing pools recently to swim with the tourists. The hotspring fish therapy is proved effective to heal some skin diseases.

    Typhoon Saomai kills at least 105 in China's Zhejiang

    Farmer Zhu Jiayin repairs the mushroom shelter damaged by typhoon Saomai at Qipan Village in Cangnan County of Wenzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province, Aug. 12, 2006. Typhoon Saomai, the strongest hiting the Chinese mainland in half a century, left 105 people dead and at least 190 others missing.
