Singaporean deputy PM to visit China

Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng will pay an official visit to China from Aug. 21 to 27 at the invitation of Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi.

During the visit, Wu and Wong will co-chair the third meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation and the eighth meeting of the Joint Steering Committee of the Suzhou Industrial Park.

Liu Jianchao, spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, announced this Tuesday.
