The Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) has been granted visa-free access to Greenland and Faroe Islands, according to an official press release issued here on Wednesday.

The release from the Information Bureau said the government of the MSAR has been informed by the Royal Danish Consulate General in Hong Kong that the holders of the MSAR passports have been exempted from visa requirements when visiting Greenland and the Faroe Islands for a stay up to three months during any six-month period.

It added that a total of 74 countries and territories have already agreed to grant visa-free access or visa-on-arrival to the MSAR passport holders, including 57 countries and 15 territories with mutual visa exemption, and 2 countries granting visa upon arrival.
