Hong Kong share prices closed down Friday with the blue-chip Hang Seng Index went down 42.35 points, or 0.24 percent, to 17,330.70 after trading between 17,316. 13 and 17,413.96 during the session.
The turnover reached 21.43 billion HK dollars (2.76 billion U.S. dollars), down from Thursday's 27.36 billion HK dollars.
The red chips went down 15.49 points to 2,567.79, while H- shares declined 25.94 points to 6,989.99.
HSBC, the leading blue chip, fell 0.36 percent to 140.10 HK dollars and the other heavy weight China Mobile went down 0.10 percent to 51.65 HK dollars.
China Construction Bank kept going down, falling 0.29 percent, to 3.46 HK dollars, while Bank of China remain unchanged at 3.46 HK dollars.
