Vietnam's Industry Ministry has forecast that export revenues of local industrial products, including crude oil, garment and footwear will rise 17 percent to 33.8 billion U.S. dollars in 2007, accounting for up to 76.6 percent of the country's total export turnover in the year.

The ministry also predicted that the goods, which will continue to register high growths in 2007, include footwear, electronics and computer component, handicraft, woodwork and plastics, Vietnam News Agency reported Monday.

Vietnam gained over 4.9 billion dollars from exporting more than 9.6 million tons of crude oil, roughly 3.4 billion dollars from garment and textile, nearly 2.1 billion dollars from footwear, nearly 1.1 billion dollars from woodwork, and 900 million dollars from electronics and computer components in the first seven months of this year, according to the General Statistics Office.

In the seven-month period, Vietnam posted total export revenues of over 22.3 billion dollars, up 25.7 percent.
