Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- Aug. 21

The gold price in Hong Kong rose 56 HK dollars to 5,735 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 619.73 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 5.84 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7660 HK dollars.
