Industrial enterprises maintain impressive growth in profits

According to the latest report released by National Bureau of Statistics, domestic industrial enterprises above the designated size have registered a year-on-year profits increase of 28.6 percent, 0.6 percent higher than that of the first 6 months this year and 8 percent higher than last year.

The monthly profits report of industrial enterprises followed by National Bureau of Statistics found that domestic industrial enterprises above the designated size have seen a total profit of 967.9 billion Yuan, with the comprehensive index of economic efficiency of industrial enterprises standing at 183.4 point, up 15.95 point from last year.

Domestic industrial enterprises have maintained impressive profits growth from the beginning of this year, with that in the first quarter this year amounting to 21.3 percent. The profits increase stands at 25.5 percent in the first five months this year, 28 percent in the first six months and 28.6 percent in the first seven months.
