German stocks end mixed on Friday

German stocks closed mixed Friday on the Frankfurt market.

The 30-share DAX Index dropped to 5,811.47 points by 2.61 or 0. 04 percent.

However, the MDAX index of medium-sized companies edged up to 8, 041.68 by 10.44 or 0.13 percent.

The TecDAX index of technologies and science firms also moved up slightly by 0.49 or 0.08 percent to 647.15.
