Chinese State Councilor embarks on tour of Eastern Europe

Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan left Beijing Saturday afternoon to visit five East European states.

Tang's eight-day official visit is being made at the invitation of Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Ivana Dulic Markovic, the governments of Macedonia, Montenegro and Slovenia, and Croatian Vice-Prime Minister Damir Polancec.
