font size

An air route between China's Macao and Jinmen of Taiwan province of China is slated to be launched on September 23, according to a local media report on Thursday.

The Macao Post Daily quoted sources from the Taiwan-based TransAsia Airways as saying that the air company will operate one flight every week between Macao and Jinmen.

It will be the first time for an airplane from Jinmen to fly to a destination outside the Taiwan province.

Jinmen lies off the coastline of the Chinese mainland Fijian province, inhabiting some 75,000 residents.
