"The Himalayan Times Wheels Auto Show-2006" will be held on September 15-17 in Nepali capital Kathmandu, the Himalayan Times newspaper reported on Friday.

The mega show generated a large response from all the major players from the auto industry and institutions last year.

Once again, all major players from automobile industry are getting ready to exhibit their products and services under one roof for the benefit of prospective customers.

"The auto show is not only a continuation to last year's event, but it is an enlarged platform where major automobile dealers, prospective buyers, enthusiasts and concerned stakeholders will be coming together under one roof," Chief Operating Officer C.U. Anand told reporters.

He said the auto show is a comprehensive event where a wide range of two wheelers, four wheelers, accessories and spares will be available at best bargains.

Furthermore, the participation by commercial banks, finance and insurance companies will add a special zing to the event, as prospective buyers can have fresh information on auto financing and insurance.

The first THT Wheels Auto Show was held on October 29-30, 2005 at the same venue, which had received an overwhelming response from all participants, visitors and well-wishers.

There will be new arrivals as well as launch of new cars. There will also be schemes on auto purchase, explicitly designed for the event this year as well.
