As many as 87 games of the upcoming NBA season are to be available on internet, said NBA (China) Vice-president Mark Fischer here on Saturday.

NBA, one of the most popular sports and entertainment industries which was broadcast through 43 languages in 215 countries and regions, are set to co-operate officially with China's nusport.cn and sohu.com, bringing Chinese basketball fans 87 games which differ from the TV broadcast in contents and time.

"With the development of the internet technology and the co-operation with the Chinese internet media, NBA hopes to get more basketball programs closer to the fans," said Fischer, who played basketball himself in an amateur league in Chinese Taipei while working there.

The program includes one live show on each Monday and Friday and a replay on Wednesdays, revealed Fischer.
